Drop-In Summer Crafts at Wilton Library: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children of all ages can stop by during regular library hours and make a Medieval-themed craft to take home. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition and Reception for Leona and Richard Frank: 6 p.m. July brings Leona and Richard Frank to the Weir Farm artist in residency program. As spousal artists, they enjoy supporting each others individual creative endeavors, but they also frequently collaborate on interpretations of natural environments. Their goal is to eventually produce a book displaying their personal visions of the same environments, depicted in their field of choice painting and drawing for Leona and photography for Richard. Wilton Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting: 7:15 p.m. The planning and zoning commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.
Tuesday, July 24
Wonderful Ones and Twos At Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This program is a sharing time for toddlers and their caregivers. There are songs, books and activities selected to introduce children to the library and to story times. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. This program runs weekly to Aug. 14. Tuesday Book Buzz at Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to noon. There will be a Book Buzz conversation moderated by one of Wilton Librarys reference librarians. Participants are encouraged to come and chat about one of their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Registration suggested but not required. Wednesday, July 25
Wonderful Wednesdays at Wilton Library, Medieval Lute with Harris Becker: 3 p.m. Join the library as it welcomes Harris Becker, lutenist, to the Brubeck Room. The lute was a popular instrument in the Medieval era, and Becker will perform as well as inform visitors about this unique instrument and music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Becker will also be accompanied by a vocalist, who will share a variety of music from the Middle Ages. The program is for children ages 5 and up. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Thursday, July 26
Remember September at the Wilton Library Summer Music & More Concert Series: 5 p.m. Remember September, a Connecticut indie rock band, will perform at this indoor/outdoor concert. The concert is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Wilton Inland Wetlands Commission: 7:30 p.m. The Inland Wetlands Commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.
Friday, July 20
Medieval Movies at Wilton Library: 10:15 a.m. The library will show Robin Hood. Snacks will be provided. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
The Summer Theater of New Canaan presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: 8 p.m. General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 5. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
