Reel Mondays at Wilton Library: 7 p.m. The library will screen the movie Dive! Every year, Americans throw away 96 billion pounds of food 263 million pounds a day. Inspired by a curiosity about societys careless habit of sending good, edible food straight to landfills, the award-winning documentary Dive! follows filmmaker Jeremy Seifert and friends as they dumpster-dive in the back alleys and gated garbage receptacles of Los Angeles supermarkets. In the process, they salvage thousands of dollars worth of good, edible food resulting in an eye-opening documentary that is equal parts entertainment, guerilla journalism and call to action. Wonderful Ones and Twos At Wilton Library: 11 to 11:30 a.m. This program is a sharing time for toddlers and their caregivers. The fingerplays, songs, books and activities are selected to introduce children to the library and to story times. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. This program runs weekly to Aug. 14. Tuesday Book Buzz at Wilton Library: 11 a.m. to noon. There will be a Book Buzz conversation moderated by one of Wilton Librarys reference librarians. Participants are encouraged to come and chat about one of their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Registration suggested but not required. Teen Iron Chef Challenge at Wilton Library: 3 to 5 p.m. Love food? Like competing in teams? Think youre creative? Then join the Wilton Librarys Iron Chef Competition. Work in teams and battle three challenges using healthy and farm fresh ingredients. A maximum of four members per team is allowed. Come as a team or be put on one. Prizes will be awarded. The challenge is for students entering grades 6 to 12. Registration is required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

In Harmony at the Wilton Library Summer Music & More Concert Series: 5 p.m. In Harmony, a vocal oldies group, returns to Wilton Library for its fifth year. Writing Detective Stories for Teens at Wilton Library: 3 p.m. Join Josh Berk, author of Guy Langman: Crime Scene Procrastinator and Dark Days of Hamburger Halpin. In this interactive workshop, youll talk about great detective stories and get tips for writing your own mystery before brainstorming and writing the first chapter together. The Summer Theater of New Canaan presents "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat:" 8 p.m. General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 5. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
