Monday

  • Wilton Library: 6 to 7 p.m. Local author John Lambo is holding a talk at the library to discuss his new biography on “Melanie,” the first woman to perform at Woodstock Music Festival in 1969.
  • Wilton Town Hall: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Wilton Board of Selectmen will be holding its regular meeting at town hall in room B.

Tuesday

  • Wilton Library: 10:30 a.m. to noon. Learn how a Home Energy Solutions assessment is one of the most cost-effective ways to reduce energy bills and find out how to qualify for a free income eligible program, at the Wilton library.
  • Wilton Town Hall: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Democrats of Wilton are holding a caucus at town hall in room A, which is in the Annex building.
  • Wilton Town Hall: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Wilton Board of Finance will be discussing the Mill Rate in room B at town hall.

Wednesday

  • Wilton Library: 10 a.m. The library staff members will be handing out 100 free copies of Wilton Reads! book “State of Wonder” by Ann Patchett. Copies are limited to 100 and one per person.
  • Wilton Town Hall: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The Wilton Board of Finance will be holding a second meeting to discuss the Mill Rate in room B at town hall.

Thursday

  • Wilton Library: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Author Dan Kinley comes to the library to discuss his new book “Common Courage,” which tells the story of three men during the French and Indian War and again in the American Revolution. Registration is recommended.
