Wilton Arts Council Focus ’13 Art Exhibition Reception: 6 to 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy a reception celebrating the photographers exhibiting in the Wilton Arts Council Focus ’13 Juried Photography Exhibition, an annual exhibition featuring artists using a variety of photography media. Exhibition runs through April 29. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the library. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Saturday, April 13
Creative Kids - Trinidad and Tobago: 2 to 3 p.m. Children can discover the instruments of Trinidad and Tobago and make a steel pan replica. Free with museum admission; ticketed admittance on a first-come, first-served basis. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Mathews Park, 303 West Ave., Norwalk.
Sunday, April 14
"Connecticut's Own" Concert Featuring Jessica Raposo: 4 to 5 p.m. Wilton resident and flutist Jessica Raposo will be joined by pianist Andrew Gordon and guitarist Daniel Corr performing works by J.S. Bach, Georges Enesco and Katherine Hoover. Free, but advance registration is recommended. Pre-registered attendees should arrive before 3:50 p.m. to be guaranteed seating. Wait-listed and walk-in registrants will be admitted after 3:50 if space is available.
