What To Do In Wilton This Weekend

WILTON, Conn. – Here's a look at some events happening in and around Wilton this weekend, including the annual "Beyond Words" benefit at the Wilton Library. For more listings, visit our events calendar.

Friday, April 5

Beyond Words: 7 to 11 p.m. Enjoy an evening of intrigue and Italian food at this year's Venetian Masquerade-themed Beyond Words benefit for the Wilton Library. The event will feature food by Luca Wine Bar & Italian Seafood, silent and live auctions, masks and more. Tickets range from $150 to $500 and can be purchased online, by calling 203-762-3950 ext. 216, or at the library circulation desk. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Saturday, April 6

Townwide Community Cleanup: 9 a.m. to noon. Help pickup litter in your own neighborhood or join volunteers at the Town Green Gazebo to pick up around town. A truck will be available at Town Green to collect filled trash bags. Call the Conservation Commission Office at 563-0180 for more information. 

Sunday, April 7

"The Little Engine That Could Earns Her Whistle:" 1 and 4 p.m. This encouraging family-friendly show tells the story of Little Blue Engine, who dreams of someday leaving the train yard to pull the big cars on the main line track. Recommended for kids 4 and up. Tickets are $18 and available online. Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court, Westport.
