Fiber Arts Friday: 10 a.m. to noon. If you quilt, crochet, knit or spin, join historical textile expert Arlene Parkhurst at this weekly get-together in Wilton. Coffee and tea served. The event is free for members, $10 for nonmembers. Wilton Historical Society, 224 Danbury Road.

"Trial By Fire: Lives Re-Forged" Premiere: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Directed by Wilton resident Megan Smith-Harris, this critically-acclaimed documentary chronicles the journeys of inspirational burn survivors who have reclaimed their lives and achieved new dreams. A $5 donation is suggested. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
