Monday, Dec. 10

Wilton Police Commission: 7 p.m. The Wilton Police Commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

Wilton Historic District and Historic Properties Commission: 7:30 p.m. The commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Old Town Hall, 68 Ridgefield Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

English As A Second Language Class: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Twice-weekly ESL classes given by Westport Continuing Education conclude. Testing and registration required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Gingerbread for Teens at Wilton Library: 4 to 5 p.m.  Teens in grades 6 to 12 have gingerbread men and women waiting to be decorated. Teens can listen to holiday tunes and have fun being creative. Registration is required. Space limited. The program is sponsored by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Thursday, Dec. 13

An Italian Christmas: 6 to 7 p.m.  Come to an Italian Christmas program "Buon Natale!" There will be activities, games, crafts, stories and Italian goodies to eat. Children will learn about La Befana, The Christmas Witch, as well as other Italian Christmas customs and traditions. Refreshments may include pasta, fruit, pastries, cookies, Panettone and antipasto. Some food products may contain nuts. Children ages 4 and up are welcome with a caregiver. Registration is required. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Friday, Dec. 14

Wilton Library Holiday Book Sale: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  The library’s holiday book sale in the gallery is a seasonal delight. Bargains can be found – most of the items are new or like-new condition, making a terrific opportunity for holiday gift-giving. Items include books, unopened CDs and DVDs, children’s books and a huge assortment of art books. As items are sold, new ones appear daily. All sales support the library. The sale is open during regular library hours through Dec. 23. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
