Wilton Rotary Carnival: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The annual Wilton Rotary Carnival will offer rides, games, and food. It is one of the Wilton Rotary’s main fund raising activities, and proceeds will benefit a wide range of local and international causes, including support of the Wilton Commons, Senior Protection Plan, Fuel Assistance Program, Wilton Library and more. Saturday, Sept. 21

The Victorian Novel: Approaching 200 Years Old But Still Relevant with Mark Schenker: 4:00 p.m. It is in two unique lectures on the relevance of the great Victorian novels to today's readers, Mark Schenker, Dean of Academic Affairs in Yale College, will examine the social and psychological issues that confronted the Victorians and that continue to engage us in the 21st century. New Perspectives Film Series—The Imposter: 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. It is an absorbing tale about a US kidnapping in 1994 of a 13-year old boy with its twists and turns, including the boy being found alive in Spain three years later. Refreshments served. $5 suggested donation. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
