The society is reprising its popular chocolate-making workshops with an afternoon session for kids grades K-8 and an evening one for adults. The one-hour sessions will use an extensive collection of small chocolate molds, including hearts, stars and a multitude of animals.

While Colonial forefathers had no chocolate candies, since they weren't common until the mid-1800s, participants will make something extra nice for their Valentine -- delicious, professional-looking chocolates and an origami-style box in which to put them.

Kids' workshop, 3-4 p.m. Note: this is not a drop-off program. There's a $5 materials fee for members' children, $10 for others. Registration is required and space is limited. Register by e-mail at info@wiltonhistorical.org or by calling 203-762-7257.

Artisal adults' workshop, 7-8 p.m. The adult "Sweets for Sweethearts" session for adults will feature wine and other beverages, as well. The news release notes, "The artisanal chocolate provided is very high quality and worthy of being savored by discerning sweethearts and will make a lovely gift for that special someone." There's a $20 fee for members and $25 for non-members. Registration is required and space is limited. Register by e-mail at info@wiltonhistorical.org or by calling 203-762-7257.

The society is at 224 Danbury Road/Route 7, Wilton.
