Author Discusses Making, Breaking Habits In Talk At Wilton Library

WILTON, Conn. – Author Gretchen Rubin will discuss her book, “Better Than Before: What I Learned About Making and Breaking Habits –To Sleep More, Quit Sugar, Procrastinate Less, and Generally Build a Happier Life” from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wilton Library.

In her new book, Rubin turns her attention to the crucial question: How do we change our habits? With her signature mix of rigorous research, easy humor and personal experimentation, Rubin identifies and illustrates the core principals of habit change.

Rubin’s books have sold more than 2 million copies worldwide in more than 30 languages. On her popular weekly podcast “Happier with Gretchen Rubin,” she discusses good habits and happiness with her sister Elizabeth Craft.

Rubin started her career in law and was clerking for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor when she realized she wanted to be a writer. Her books include the New York Times bestsellers “Better Than Before,” “The Happiness Project” and “Happier at Home.”

The purchase of the book is entry to the event. The price is $16 and includes two seats at the event and one paperback copy of “Better Than Before.” A portion of the book sales will benefit the Wilton Library. Click here to purchase tickets.

All ticket purchases are non-refundable. Books will be distributed at check-in beginning at 6 p.m. on the night of the event. Additional books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of Elm Street Books. Rubin will host a Q&A session and book signing after the talk.
