WILTON, Conn. - Debbie Schwartz will join Wilton-based Winning Applications as an associate, owner Stephanie Klein Wassink has announced.
Winning Applications is made up of former admissions officers who offer expert guidance to students applying to highly competitive colleges and graduate programs.
Schwartz will work with new students and their parents on all aspects of the college admission process, including essay writing and finding the best fit for each student.
Her previous experience includes working in admissions at Yale University, where she interviewed U.S. and international applicants, reviewed applications, and participated in admissions committee meetings. That experience will be invaluable in her work for Winning Applications, Wassink said.
Schwartz holds degrees from Drew University and the Yale School of Management.
She has two children, both of whom attend a Fairfield County independent school. In 2010, she received the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Angel in Adoption award for her work with pre- and post-adoptive families.
Winning Applications offers college consulting through all stages of the application process, from school selection to college essay editing and mock interviewing. It helps parents and students navigate the college application process with confidence and ease.
