Police say they've arrested a man who they say is connected to multiple golf store heists.
In February, a Norwalk Golf Galaxy store on Connecticut Ave. was robbed of several high-end clubs worth about $23,000, police said.
Norwalk detectives shared info from the robbery with other local agencies, and police in New York noticed a similar pattern to multiple high-end burglaries there, where someone had swiped thousands in expensive equipment.

A New York man is facing serious charges after police say he veered out of his lane and hit a child riding a bike in Norwalk, seriously injuring the young victim.
Giovani Holguin, 30, of Harrison, New York, turned himself in to police on Tuesday, May 14, after investigators tied him to the crash that happened on Wilson Avenue in Norwalk last month, authorities said.

A Connecticut high school softball coach has turned himself in to police on Friday, May 9, after investigators accused him of sexually assaulting multiple students at school.
Cary Nadel, 70, of Wilton, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, according to Norwalk police.
Nadel, who coached at Norwalk High School, was accused on April 1 of inappropriate behavior and unwanted touching of students on campus, police said.

Routine Norwalk Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust: Police
Police arrested a man with a known history of drug crimes following a routine traffic stop on Monday, April 1, authorities said.
Trey Daniel Greene, 31, of Bridgeport, faces multiple felonies following the stop at the Stuart Avenue and Connecticut Avenue intersection in Norwalk, police said.
Officers pulled over a vehicle Greene was in and found 8.25 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of crack, 12 grams of fentanyl, and 14 folds of heroin, Norwalk police said.
He was being held on a $100,000 bond, police said.

A fast-moving fire in Norwalk destroyed a home on Monday, March 24, but, thankfully, no one was injured.
Firefighters were called to 2 Morton St. around 10:50 a.m. to a blaze at the two-and-a-half-story home. The house had items stacked to the ceiling making for an "unusually heavy fire load," crews said.
Firefighters had to bring in an excavator to dismantle portions of the upper roof, walls, and chimneys because they were likely to collapse, Norwalk crews said.
