Norwalk Woman Charged With DWI In Darien After Failing To Stop At Stop Sign, Police Say A Norwalk woman is facing charges after police said she was found to be intoxicated when she was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign in Darien. An officer saw a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign while exiting the I-95 southbound Exit 13 ramp at about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, the Darien Police Department reported. Intoxicated Driver Strikes Parked Vehicle On Montauk Highway In Hampton Bays, Police Say A 35-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated after police said he crashed his vehicle into a parked car on Montauk Highway. Officers received a report of a crash in Hampton Bays at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, the Southampton Town Police Department reported. Police determined that Pedro ReyesAparicio, of Hampton Bays, was intoxicated when he struck a parked vehicle, authorities reported. He was arrested and charged with DWI and traffic infractions, police said.

Intoxicated Driver Crashes Into Utility Police In North Haven, Police Say A 57-year-old man was charged after police said he drove while intoxicated and crashed into a utility pole on Long Island. John Wrynn, of Sag Harbor, was arrested at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, following a crash in North Haven, the Southampton Town Police Department said. Physician Assistant In Riverside Apprehended For Forcibly Touching Patient, Police Say A 54-year-old physician assistant on Long Island was charged after police said he forcibly touched a 21-year-old woman during an examination. Kenneth Alessi, of Mattituck, was arrested at Sun River Health Care, his place of work, on Friday, Jan. 6, for an incident that happened in June, the Southampton Town Police Department reported.
