Marpe Bids Good Luck To Westport Rowers Heading To Junior Worlds

WESTPORT, Conn. -- First Selectman Jim Marpe met with Oliver Bub and Lucas Manning at the Saugatuck Rowing Club to wish them good luck.

Oliver and Lucas, who are rising seniors at Staples High School, are the rowing pair who will be representing the U.S. next month at the Junior World Rowing Championships in Rio de Janeiro.

They have been rowing and competing since the eighth grade and are being actively recruited by a number of top university rowing programs.
