WESTPORT, Conn. -- Social media postings about the death of a student from Staples High School contain information that is incorrect and deemed "harmful" and "disrespectful," Westport Superintendent of Schools Elliott Landon reportedly said Tuesday, according to the Westport News.
Students at Staples High School learned Monday of the death of wrestling team member and Boy Scout Christopher Lanni, 14, who died on Dec 23 at Yale-New Haven Hospital, the Westport News said.
