Peter Ferraro Jr. and Andrew Drew Frank Jr. are accused of robbing a man at knife point and then letting him go in Westport, after offering the man a ride home from East Norwalk for $10, police said.
During the drive, Ferraro stopped his vehicle on the side of the road and pulled a knife, police said. At that time, he and Frank demanded more money and then robbed the victim of his wallet, the police report said. Both men blocked the victim from running and forced him to get back into the vehicle, police said.
At some point, Frank got out of the car at an unknown intersection and Ferraro continued to drive around, holding the victim in the car at knife point and demanding the PIN numbers to his debit cards, police said. The victim was released in Westport after he provided Ferraro with his PIN number, according to the report.
Ferraro is accused of later using the ATM card at two local banks, police said.
Ferraro, whose last known address was in Norwalk, and Frank, of Stamford, are considered armed and dangerous, police said. Ferraro also has violent tendencies, police said.
Both are wanted on charges of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, all felonies.
Ferraro is additionally wanted on charges of credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card and sixth-degree larceny.
Anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of these men is asked to call the Westport Police Department at 203-341-6000.
