Officers dispatched to a complaint of someone driving erratically found a vehicle driven by Joseph Pepin, 26, of Hiawatha Lane, stopped through three cycles of the traffic light without moving, police said.
Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Pepin’s breath and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Pepin was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, insurance coverage fails minimum requirements, failure to drive in proper lane and failure to obey a control signal, police said.
He posted $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.
