WESTPORT, Conn. — An Indiana man turned himself in to police Sunday in connection with a hit and run in October, police said.
Anthony Buffa, 63, of Indianapolis, was charged with evading responsibility and following too closely, police said.
On Oct. 27, a vehicle stopped at a traffic light at Compo Road North and Post Road East was struck from behind by a car rented by Buffa, police said.
The impact damaged a bicycle rack mounted on the rear of the car, but the at-fault vehicle left the scene, police said.
Buffa posted a court-set $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 27.
