New Haven County resident Lisa Daubenhauser, age 43, of Seymour, was arrested in Shelton on Tuesday, Aug. 23.
The arrest stems from a complaint Shelton Police took from a woman who said she received a massage at M Spa located at 61 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton, said Det. Richard Bango, of the Shelton Police.
The victim said that during the massage Daubenhauser touched her inappropriately and made lewd comments to her. During the investigation, it was discovered that Daubenhauser did not have a license to practice massage therapy, Bango said.
Daubenhauser was charged with sexual assault and practicing without a license.
She was released on a $5,000 bond.
