Andre Ward, 27, was driving a grey Hyundai Sonata when he allegedly failed to maintain a proper lane at the intersection of Danbury and Kent roads on Wednesday, June 19 at around 1:20 p.m., according to the Wilton Police Department.
The car which had New York license plates reportedly crossed the white painted fog lane while heading south on Danbury Road so police conducted a traffic stop, said the report.
Police allegedly smelled marijuana and searched the car, said police.
The following was allegedly found in the vehicle:
- .801 ounces marijuana packaged in 14 individual smaller plastic bags and 1 plastic sandwich bag
- 19 empty individual smaller plastic bags
- One electronic cigarette containing THC
- Three previously smoked joints containing marijuana
- One stone smoking bowl
- One package of rolling papers
- A fraudulent Connecticut state handicap placard
- Possession of marijuana with intent to sell
- Possession of more than .05 ounce of marijuana
- Possession of paraphernalia with intent to sell
- Second-degree forgery
- Failure to maintain proper lane
- Operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license
- Operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Ward posted a $5,000 bond and is due in Norwalk court Monday, July 1.
