Ronald G. Uccellini, 74, Of Westport, Owned Allan’s Clam House

WESTPORT, Conn. - Ronald G. Uccellini of Westport died Friday, Sept. 6. He was 74.

Uccellini was born Sept. 26, 1938, in Norwalk; son of Bert and Elizabeth (Kaiser) Uccellini. He was a lifelong resident of Westport and graduate of Staples High School. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He owned and operated Allan’s Clam House in Westport and Allan’s East in Stratford with his family. For the past six years he has worked for Star Inc. in Norwalk.

Uccellini is survived by his wife, Hilde; son, Darrick Uccellini; daughter, Nancy Schlussel (Drew); two grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Uccellini (Karen), Douglas Uccellini (Sally); sisters, Cheryl Spillane (Edward), Janis Pascarella (James); many nieces and nephews; stepson, Steven Koch (Molly); and a step grandchild. He was predeceased by his first wife, Judith Uccellini; and stepson, John Koch.

Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Road East, Westport. The funeral service will be Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave., Westport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow immediately after at the Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road Westport.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Star Inc., a non- profit for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
