WESTPORT, Conn. — The Westport Department of Public Works has scheduled the annual Roadway Crack Seal Program to begin on Friday, Aug. 5.
The work will continue daily for one week, according to the town. The department will perform maintenance on 8 to 10 miles of various roadways throughout the town.
Traffic will not be detoured, but alternating one-way traffic flow will be used to route traffic around this continually moving work zone. The roadways will be open for two-way traffic as the work crew progresses.
Drivers are reminded to follow the directions of the traffic control personnel and travel at a reduced speed through the work zone.
