WESTON, Conn. – The Weston Public Library will stay open as it starts a major renovation late next month, with an eye toward wrapping up the project by September and the start of school, according to the Weston Forum.
Plans are to completely redesign the library, adding a cafe, teen room, additional meeting rooms and more, the Forum said.
The library's existing community room will be converted into a temporary library for regular services, reported the Weston Forum.
This is the third expansion for the library in 30 years, with similar projects completed in 1985 and 1994, the Forum noted.
