WESTON, Conn. -- As the warm weather nears, so, too, do the dangers posed by local wildlife, according to The Weston Forum.
In recent weeks, multiple black bear sightings have been reported across Weston, with some animals destroying beehives, chicken coops, garbage cans and birdfeeders, according to The Weston Forum.
There also have been a pair of reports involving rabid animals -- a raccoon and a fox, according to The Weston Forum.
Bears have also been spotted on Osborn Farm Road, Georgetown Road, Cannondale Road, Valley Forge Road, and Blue Spruce Circle and on the soccer field at Morehouse Farm Park, according to The Forum.
