WESTON, Conn. - All 3,808 Weston Connecticut Light & Power customers were without power Tuesday morning following Hurricane Sandy's damaging winds.
Selectman David Muller said there were also 93 roads closed in Weston as of Tuesday morning.
"Five to six crews are working to get the roads open and people are getting into town," Muller said. "Peter's Market is open with generators."
A comfort station will open at the Middle School from 4 to 9 p.m. providing residents access to showers and facilities to charge electrical equipment.
"We intend to open it during the next several days, as needed," Muller said.
