The girls and troop leaders presented Jan Mola, director of patient care in the Division of Nursing, and her staff with toys, dolls and games for distribution to pediatric patients of all ages during the holiday season and throughout the year.

“We greatly appreciate this gesture by the Junior Girl Scouts,” said Dr. Vicki Smetak, chairwoman of the Department of Pediatrics at Norwalk Hospital. “This toy drive comes on the heels of another wonderful donation by Weston Intermediate School’s PTO. These efforts are especially meaningful during the holiday season because of the comfort and cheer that new toys bring to our pediatric patients and their families.”
