Tropical Fish Show To Take Over Westport's Earthplace

WESTPORT, Conn. -- An array of small, exotic fish colorful enough to rival the big aquariums will be on display at the Norwalk Aquarium Society’s 47th annual Tropical Fish Show this weekend at Earthplace in Westport.

The event will be on Oct. 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Members of the society will display their prize specimens, compete for awards, and hold a workshop on beginning fish-keeping at 2:30 p.m.

On Sunday at 1 p.m., the annual auction will take place in which visitors can bid on aquarium equipment and tropical fish. There will also be a raffle drawing.

Admission into Earthplace is $7 for adults and $5 for children. The fish show is included with admission.

Earthplace is located at 10 Woodside Lane in Westport.
