That's the sound a lucky Ansonia man probably heard after winning $500,000 on a $20 lottery scratch-off ticket.
Allen Brualdi, who purchased the winning Gold ticket at City Star Market in Guilford, cashed in his winning ticket on Friday, Dec. 27, at CT Lottery headquarters, lottery officials said.
Brualdi declined to be interviewed and featured in the Lottery’s Winner Stories, but lottery officials said he was the second big winner in the game, leaving one more to come forward.
The game also had six $50,000 second-prize chances, two of which remain unclaimed, lottery officials said.
