WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Library is offering a workshop for children ages 8 to 12 in making computerized art.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the library’s Great Hall on the main level.
Participants will learn the program TurtleArt to design original images.
The program uses colorful blocks that snap together to tell the turtle what direction to move and how to draw.
Join technology teacher Josh Burker in exploring the process of creating art from geometry.
The program is limited to 10 children. Register online.
