WESTPORT, Conn. -- The League of Women Voters of Westport will hold the Mediterranean Pie and Politics forum with state legislators at Kibberia Restaurant on Tuesday night.
Pat Porio, VP for Program/Advocacy of the League, will be moderator for the meeting.
The four legislators will include Sen. Toni Boucher (R-26th District), Sen. Tony Hwang (R-28th District), Rep. Gail Lavielle (R-143rd District) and Rep. Jonathan Steinberg (D-136th District).
They will share their visions and priorities for the upcoming legislative session that begins on February 3.
“This is an opportunity for Westport residents to come ask questions, make suggestions, and learn how they will be represented in the upcoming months. We’re pleased to be kicking off our new year with this informative session," said League President Celeste LaCroix.
The event will be held Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Kibberia Restaurant is located at 361 Post Road.
The League of Women Voters of Westport, now in its 66th year, is a non-partisan organization of women and men that promotes informed and active participation in government and community.
