updated: TRUMBULL, Conn. -- No serious injuries were reported in a vehicle fire that slowed traffic on Route 8 southbound near Exit 7 in Trumbull early Friday evening, state police told the Connecticut Post.
Multiple fire trucks responded to the scene, and the right lane was blocked. Drivers saw delays of up to an hour.
The Post reported that car was completely destroyed in the fire, which was likely mechanical.
