Monroe Superintendent Announces Retirement

MONROE, Conn. -- Superintendent Jim Agostine announced he will retire at the end of the school year, according to the Monroe Courier.

Agostine came to Monroe in 2012. He had served as the superintendent for District 16 before making the move. Agostine said working in the Monroe district was the "capstone" of his career, the Monroe Courier reported. 

Agostine's final day will be June 30, the Monroe Courer said.
