No other schools in Easton nor Redding were affected.
Head of School Gina Pin told the Redding Pilot that no water pipes burst in the school, but air in the pipes was causing problems that resulted in the flooding.
Repairs will be underway all week, and tankers are helping to keep the system working, the Redding Pilot said.
The Region 9 school district is determining how the one-day closure will impact the last day of school and will share that information as soon as possible, the Pilot said.
