REDDING, Conn. -- Students will not be able to use e-cigarettes, vapor devices or medical marijuana on school grounds at Joel Barlow High School after school board members expanded the rules regarding the use of tobacco, according to the Redding Pilot.
School officials said that over the past two years, e-cigarettes and "vapes," have become more common and school officials have confiscated several of the items, said the Redding Pilot.
In addition, board members voted to prohibit the use of legal medical marijuana, which is restricted to those over 21 in the state, added the Redding Pilot.
