A Wilton man was busted for exposing his "butt" to young shoppers at a store in the Trumbull Mall at least two times over the past couple of months, according to Trumbull Police.
Joseph Bear, 57, turned himself in Tuesday on a warrant and was charged with the risk of injury to children and public indecency after police were able to identify him on store surveillance, said Lt. Keith Golding.
A warrant was issued for Bear after police received a complaint from a local teen who stated that while shopping with a friend at Target in the Trumbull Mall, Bear exposed his buttocks to them. Video surveillance captured the incident, Golding said.
Bear returned to the store a second time on April 6 and was again acting suspiciously and attempting to expose his buttocks to shoppers. It was during this incident that Trumbull Police were able to positively identify Bear and connect him to the March 24 incident, Golding said.
Bear was released after posting $50,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 4.
