Two Hospitalized After Car Crashes Into CVS In Norwalk

Two people were injured when a car crashed into the side of a CVS store in Norwalk.

The crash took place around 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, at the store at 6 Willard Street, said the Norwalk Police.

The woman driving, and a man were transported by Norwalk Hospital EMS to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The building sustained damage, which was evaluated by the City of Norwalk Building Department.

The impact caused a row of shelves to collapse inside the store, trapping one employee. 

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
