Trumbull Man Charged In String Of Business Burglaries

A man wanted by police in Fairfield County for his role in burglaries in a Milford business plaza is in police custody after being arrested on an active warrant, investigators said.

Officers from the Milford Police Department arrested Trumbull resident Christopher Dahlinger, 28, on Wednesday, June 5, an active arrest warrant for a string of burglaries at a business plaza on Naugatuck Avenue.

According to police, Dahlinger broke into a pair of businesses on Dec. 26 last year and attempted to break into a third on Jan. 12, unsuccessfully.

Dahlinger was arrested and charged with two counts of burglary, larceny and three counts of criminal mischief. Dahlinger is currently being held in lieu of $15,000 bond. No return court date has been announced.
