Police in Ridgefield have released the description of a suspect spotted rummaging through a pair of vehicles overnight.

According to investigators, during the early hours of Monday, June 17, two vehicles were reported to have been broken into by a suspect described as “tall, thin, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.”

The two incidents took place on Clayton Place and Bridle Trail.

Police noted that nothing was reported to be missing in either incident, though they said “please remember to lock your vehicles and remove all valuables. You should report any suspicious activity to the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531 or dial 911 in the event of an emergency.”
