TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The Nichols Fire Department acknowledged three senior firefighters at its monthly meeting for completing the State of Connecticut Firefighter One Class.
Firefighters Matthew Taormina, Andrew Banas and Brendan Murray have now moved from the probationary firefighter category to interior structural firefighter within the department.
