Two people killed overnight in a two-vehicle crash in Fairfield County have been identified.

Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia, were killed during the crash around 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, on River Road in Shelton, said Shelton Police Lt. Christopher Nugent.

Two passengers, Meghan Nealy, 26, of Ansonia, is currently listed in critical condition and Rakiem Reid, 30, of Derby, was treated and released from the hospital, said Nugent.

An initial investigation found that two vehicles, a white BMW 5 series with four occupants, and a white Toyota Rav 4 with one occupant were involved in the crash, Nugent said.

"The two deceased were occupants in the white BMW," said Nugent.

The driver of the Rav 4, Minqiang Chen, 42, of West Hartford, was evaluated at the scene and then released.

The investigation is ongoing, Nugent said.

Anyone with any information regarding this accident is asked to contact the Shelton Police Department Traffic Division (203) 924-1544.
