EASTON, Conn. -- Helen Keller Middle School in Easton was evacuated Wednesday following a bomb threat, according to the Easton Courier.

School officials told the Easton Courier that police were on the scene searching for a possible bomb and evidence. 

The bomb scare was prompted by a message written on the wall of one of the boys' bathrooms, according to the Easton Courier. Students were evacuated to the nearby Easton Community Center and parents were notified of the situation via email, the Easton Courier reported.
