EASTON, Conn. — Two coyotes attacked a dog, which suffered to bite wounds to its back legs, an Easton resident told police.
The incident was reported at about 8:10 p.m. Oct. 27 in the area of Deepwood Road, police said.
The caller wanted neighbors to be aware of the coyotes in the area, police said.
In other animal-related calls, two residents reported seeing a bobcat walking near the road in the area of Fieldstone Drive on the afternoon of Oct. 25, police said.
And on Oct. 28, the Easton animal control officer removed a large snapping turtle from the roadway and put it into the woods, police said.
