CT State Police Seek Witnesses In Fatal Crash That Killed 52-Year-Old Man

Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a fatal crash that killed a 52-year-old man.

Tolland County resident Cory Atkins, of East Columbia, Connecticut, was killed Sunday, June 26, while driving his  2010 Harley Davidson on the Hartford Turnpike in the town of Hampton, in Windham County.

According to state police, Atkins was traveling eastbound when his motorcycle by hit by a Ford Explorer attempting to make a left turn from Pudding Hill Road onto the turnpike.

The driver of the Explorer and two passengers received minor injuries, state police said.

The collision remains under investigation and no enforcement action has been taken at this time.
