Police have released a video showing a fight that broke out during a Sweet 16 party at Circolo Sportivo. Five people were treated for minor gunshot wounds as a result of the shooting.

The video shows individual suspects standing in the vestibule of the building, some of whom have guns, according to Av Harris, director of communications for the city of Bridgeport.

The Bridgeport Police Detective Bureau is asking for assistance in identifying anyone pictured in the showcased recording. This was compiled from security camera footage taken from inside the Club Sportiva Italian Social Club at 2500 Park Ave. on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects is urged to call the Bridgeport Police tip line at 203-576-TIPS or 203-576-8477 or to contact Detective J. Tenn.

More than 300 people were at the party and police speculate the fight broke out when people showed up who weren't invited, according to the Connecticut Post.

Bridgeport Police Chief A.J. Perez is calling on city officials to enact a rule requiring police officers be hired as security guards for large private events such as this party, according to the CT Post.
