BRIDGEPORT, CONN. -- A 27-year-old Bridgeport woman is facing breach of peace and interferring with police charges after police say she caused a scene Saturday, May 14, while on a bus at Westfield Trumbull Mall with her 2-year-old daughter, according to the Trumbull Times.

Taja Lewis became upset as she was boarding a bus Saturday at the shopping mall's terminal when the bus driver moved the bus to make way for another bus, the Trumbull Times reports.

When police officers arrived, she became more upset and refused to leave. She put the toddler in a stroller but had to be carried from the bus kicking and screaming, the Trumbull Times says.

She was released and due back in court May 23.
