BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Some residents of Bridgeport, Trumbull and Fairfield may experience a brief power outage this Saturday while United Illuminating conducts system testing.
UI will conduct system testing at its Old Town electrical substation in Bridgeport to maintain the reliability of its energy grid, the utility company announced. The procedure will be conducted between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26. Customers in some areas of Bridgeport, Trumbull and Fairfield may experience a brief power outage that is expected to last less than five minutes.
Customers may wish to check clocks and other electronic devices that need to be reset following an outage.
