TRUMBULL, Conn. — The Trumbull Center is set to undergo major changes in an effort to fill vacant forefronts, increase foot traffic and curb drug-related activity, according to Connecticut Post.
The town planning and zoning commission is expected to meet later in July to approve the demolition of a vacant office building across from Trumbull Center in favor of a new building for the center's businesses, the Connecticut Post said.
The Trumbull Center's building currently blocks the view from the street, which draws concerns about drug sales, and several storefronts are unoccupied, such as the former Porricelli's Food Mart, reported Connecticut Post.
