Power Out To Redding Homes After Tree Hits Wires On Umpawaug

REDDING, Conn. — As of 11 a.m. Saturday, power remains out to about 274 Redding homes, according to Redding police. 

A tree that fell on wires on Umpawaug Road initially caused an outage to about 15 percent of the town, police sad. 

Eversource is on the scene working on restoration and repairs.
