Judge Overturns Trumbull Ruling, Allows Lights At St. Joseph's High School

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- The lights are back on at the football field at St. Joseph's High School in Trumbull after a ruling by a Superior Court judge Thursday, Oct. 29, that the school could install lights in order to have night games, according to the ctpost.com.

Judge Dale Radcliffe overturned a decision by the Trumbull Planning and Zoning Commission that had denied the lights, and ordered the commission to allow the school to install four 70-foot lights, reported the ctpost.com.

School officials first applied for the permit to install the lights In August 2014, however, neighbors objected and the application was denied, said the ctpost.com.
