EASTON, Conn. -- Eagle Scout Michael Waugh built two fantastic picnic tables for the Easton Volunteer Fire Company.

The department was very appreciative of the time and effort Waugh and the Scouts put into building the tables.

Fire Company President Casey Meskers personally thanked Waugh for his work.

The department plans to use the picnic tables for rest breaks during drills and the sharing of many meals in the future, according to a statement on the company's Facebook page.
